Application Support Engineer (code: RD-ASE)

JUNIOR APPLICATION SUPPORT

Qualification:

  • Good technical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle support issues.
  • At least 1 year experience in any of Lua, T-SQL, C#, Javascript.
  • Skills with any of IIS, AJAX, ASP.NET, and/or Web Services is a plus.
  • Good written and verbal English communication.
  • Fast Learner and willing to learn.
  • Working experience in supporting applications or client server applications is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to Ireland or other client sites if necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Should be able to provide technical support for users.
  • Navigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and environment related issues.
  • Application development to defined specifications.
  • Collaborate with Product Development team on issue and bug resolution.

Mid level Application Support Engineer

Qualification:

  • 3+ years experience with supporting applications or client server applications.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle support issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • At least 2 years working experience in any of Lua, T-SQL, C#, Javascript.
  • Knowledgeable on SQL databases - proficient with queries.
  • At least 1 year working experience on IIS, AJAX, ASP.NET, and/or Web Services.
  • Basic network administration and configuration.
  • Knowledge of HL7, DICOM and any related healthcare IT is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skill.
  • Fast Learner and willing to learn.
  • Ability to travel to Ireland or other client sites if necessary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Should be able to provide technical support for users.
  • Navigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and environment related issues.
  • Application and/or Integration development based on specifications.
  • Provide explanations of application functionality and usage to clients.
  • Document solutions to problems/issues.
  • Write client-facing application specifications.
  • Collaborate with Product Development team on issue and bug resolution.
  • Reproduce technical environments where issues are being reported.
  • Provide installation, configuration and integration support for clients.
  • Candidate must be time flexible as end-clients and product development team might belong to a different time zone.

Senior Application Support Engineer

Qualification:

  • 5+ years experience with supporting applications or mission critical client server applications.
  • Strong customer service; ability to handle support issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem solving skill.
  • Strong (at least 4 years) working experience in any of Lua, T-SQL, C#, Javascript.
  • Knowledgeable on SQL databases - proficient with queries.
  • Strong (at least 3 yrs) working experience on IIS, AJAX, ASP.NET, and/or Web Services.
  • Basic network administration and configuration.
  • Good English communication skill. Ability to communicate information clearly in writing and verbally, particularly over the phone.
  • Fast Learner and willing to learn.
  • Knowledge of HL7, DICOM and any related healthcare IT is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to Ireland or other client sites if necessary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Serve as primary point-person of clients for product issues and requests.
  • Should be able to provide technical support for users as necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison, and help manage interaction, between support and product development teams in MNL and Dublin.
  • Navigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and environment related issues.
  • Provide explanations of application functionality and usage to clients.
  • Document solutions to problems/issues.
  • Write and review client-facing application specifications.
  • Collaborate with Product Development team on issue and bug resolution.
  • Reproduce technical environments where issues are being reported.
  • Direct and participate in application and integration development.
  • At times, provide installation and configuration support for clients.
